Rich Press got started in the business as a Forensic Photographer for the New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Today he shoots stories about science, technology and environment. His work has appeared in the New York Times, SEED, Scientific American, and elsewhere. He also teaches photography in the Continuing Education program at The Cooper Union. Rich is now working on a masters degree in Environmental Science at Yale University. His research method combines photography with mapping and data analysis using GIS in order to understand how natural resources are used and can be used more sustainably. |
